Corporate Analysis
The journey of an organization passes through the various phases of life cycle and hence different business health. It is very important to analyse every phase to understand the dynamics of business that is affecting the entity. Corporate analysis gives an opportunity to the students to do an in-depth evaluation of a corporate entity. The analysis cover all aspects of the company, including finances, profit margins, organizational structure, and growth opportunities. The idea behind this type of detailed corporate analysis is to facilitate students’ gain an understanding of the general corporate health and prospects for future growth of the corporation.
 
Research / Live Projects / Field Work  
Project-based learning is an instructional model that involves students in investigations of compelling problems that culminate in authentic products. Students' abilities to acquire new understanding are enhanced when they are connected to meaningful problem-solving activities, and when students are helped to understand why, when, and how those facts and skills are relevant. Live Projects indulges students to start their work at the grass root level that culminates into report writing. More the students engage in application based study, their knowledge horizon expands. Here, at Rudra, we emphasise on application based teaching and encourages experimental learning through model making and live projects.
 
Industry News  
Increased usage of technology in all walks of life has changed the business dynamics resulting in constant pursuit for innovation. It is extremely vital to keep pace with the changing environment, to keep oneself updated; else, it may result in lagging behind and eventually losing the throne. The same is the issue with the students. There is a continuous need to remain updated with the development happening in different industries, its players and how the changes are affecting the said industry. This programme will let the students remain updated with developments in the industry.
 
Business Simulation  
Before setting foot in the real world, pilots, military personnel and disaster response teams use intense simulations to learn how to respond to high-intensity challenges. Why do we place corporate leaders and their teams in situations without first giving them a chance to try things out? The risks are huge, new strategy investments extremely costly. A business simulation activity of an enterprise, business unit or process uses real-world competitive dynamics and places students in the shoes of leaders in a context where they step out of their classroom and gain exposure to the big picture. Participants make decisions in a risk-free environment, allowing them to experience critical interdependencies, execute best practices, and test the levers they can use to optimize their company’s key performance indicators.
 
Paper Presentations  
A student manager is expected to express interpretation of the analysis of the subject of consideration in writing and to be ably equipped to communicate. Presenting Papers surely will sharpen the analytical, writing and presentation skills. Students are persuaded to write and present papers, as the activity results not only in improving interpretation, writing and presentation skills but also is a confidence booster and expand students’ repertoire of knowledge.
 
Conferences and Workshops  
Conferences promote increased learning and competitiveness amongst the students. Deliberations on relevant issues provide a platform to the students to get appraised about the facts and figures and an in depth analysis of the focus area. All round facets of the topic in consideration is on the platter for the students. Workshops are organised so that the students get an opportunity to participate in the activity.

  
 
Debate  
The process of debate emphasizes on critical thinking, research and effective communication. Debate competition makes students better able to critically examine the informed judgment on various issues. Debate helps the students to see the power of deploying rational, reasoned arguments and compelling evidence in action. It enables them to elucidate their standpoint through utilizing rhetorical eloquence. It instills in debaters a great sense of poise and confidence. It teaches them the skills of researching, organizing, and presenting information in a compelling fashion. Debate competitions are planned weekly at VVP.
 
Panel Discussionbate  
Panel Discussion gives the students an opportunity to learn the multidimensional facets of an issue from the discussion and brainstorming session by experts. Eminent academicians and proven industry stalwarts are being invited to participate in panel discussions. Even faculty members from the institute also constitute panels to discuss contemporary issues. Experience and understanding shared by the experts and teachers, their view point provides platform for learning and the session provides them outlook regarding behavioural aspect of public discussion.
 
Quiz  
Students get opportunities to participate in quiz competitions focusing on various functional areas of business and subjects. This activity compels the student to do detailed studies on the concerned subject. It enhances the observation power of the students. This activity help students remember and recall information. It is also used as an assessment tool by the faculties. Quizzing results in students learning to accept failure and take something positive out of defeat.
 
Play / Reporting / Nukkad Natak / Rally  
These activities are prerequisites for students of Journalism and Mass Communication. Regular play acting and Nukkad Natak’s on contemporary issues like ‘Matdata Jagrukta’, ‘Swatchh Bharat’, ‘Child Labour’ are held at places of public gathering like Tehsil, Bus stand, market places to give maximum exposure to the students and have utmost impact on the mass. This activity is aimed to float a message and create awareness among the audience and build confidence among the students to perform.
 
Guest Lectures  
Guest lectures are an integral part of the pedagogy of Rudra Institute of Technology. Corporate head- honchos, social personalities as well as learned academicians from the academia are invited to share their valuable insights from their rich experience about contemporary business and social issues like Cashless Economy, GST, Employability, Technology Upgradation and many more. They share their experiences of what challenges they are faced with and how they dealt with them. Guest Lecture is a way of enriching our students with the latest updates of the Industries and Technicalities. The Students are imparted knowledge about Industry needs, latest technical updates, and avenues for higher studies.
 
Scout & Guide Camp  
An activity known to develop self sufficiency, a feeling of connectedness to others and society, teamwork, confidence, one’s belief in decision making, camping as a part of the curriculum is held every year. Students form teams and get involved in the act.
